Real Madrid beat their hosts Sevilla 1–0 on Sunday, in Matchday 37 (the penultimate round) of La Liga.
Real Madrid increased their tally to 83 points in second place, eight points behind champions Barcelona, who later played Real Betis on the same day.
On the other hand, Sevilla’s points total remained at 43, leaving them in 13th place in the league table.
Real Madrid scored their only goal in the 14th minute, with Vinícius Júnior on target.
