Under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman crowned Al Hilal champions of the King’s Cup for the 10th time in their history, after their 2–1 win over Al Kholood in the final held at Al Inma Stadium in Jeddah on Friday.
The Crown Prince presented Al Hilal’s players with the trophy, gold medals, and a prize of 10 million riyals, while Al Kholood received silver medals and 5 million riyals.
Al Kholood took an early lead through Ramiro Enrique in the 4th minute, but Al Hilal fought back to equalize through Nasser Al-Dosari in the 42nd minute. Theo Hernández then scored the winner in first-half stoppage time with a powerful strike into the lower corner.
The victory gave Al Hilal their 10th King’s Cup title, adding another major trophy to their decorated history.
