Olympiacos of Greece, set with Fiorentina of Italy in the final of the UEFA UEFA League Championship, beat Aston Villa of England 2-0 in the semifinal second leg of the tournament.

Olympiacos had won a first leg in England 4-2, qualifying for the final, outperforming the 5- 2 aggregate, and meeting Fiorentina of Italy, who yesterday drew with Club Brugge of Belgium 1-1, to qualify as winners of 4- 3 on the aggregate, after winning a first leg in Italy 3- 2.

Olympiacos will face Fiorentina's Italian side, who rose to the final of last season's edition before losing to West Ham, English 1-2. Their victory over Aston Villa wiped out the hopes of English clubs by crowning one of their representatives in the continental leagues with a title this season.

Morocco's Ayoub Kaabi scored the Greek team's first goal in the 10th minute, before the same player added the second goal in the 78 minute.

Al Kaabi became the top scorer of the current season's UEFA European Conference (UEFA) edition, with ten goals, to take the lead in the competition ahead of the final on May 29 in Greek Athens.
