Report By Dr Talal osman Beto scored twice and provided an assist as Everton gave their European hopes a huge boost and dented those of Chelsea with a 3-0 victory at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Beto beat goalkeeper Robert Sanchez with a clever finish in the 33rd minute after being released by the impressive James Garner, one day on from his first England call-up. After Everton 'keeper Jordan Pickford denied Enzo Fernandez with two spectacular saves, Beto netted his second after 62 minutes, squeezing the ball past Sanchez. Beto then turned provider when Iliman Ndiaye made it 3-0 with a bending finish, condemning Chelsea to a fourth straight loss in all competitions. Liam Rosenior's side are now just one place and two points ahead of Everton in the Premier League table, with Chelsea sitting sixth and the Toffees climbing to seventh. How the match unfolded Chelsea got a huge reprieve early on as Sanchez was dispossessed by Beto but recovered to prod the ball away from the Everton striker with his goal gaping. Malo Gusto then cleared Garner's effort off the line, before some stout defending from Everton saw shots from Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto blocked at the other end. And it was the Toffees that struck first when Garner threaded a delightful pass in between the Chelsea centre-backs, allowing Beto to score past the onrushing Sanchez. Pickford made two sensational saves to deny Fernandez either side of half-time, first showing great reactions to tip the Argentine's volley over the crossbar, then diving left to push his curler around the post. And Everton took full advantage in the 62nd minute, as Beto shot on the swivel after being fed by Idrissa Gueye, with the ball fizzing through Sanchez's legs and in. Estevao struck the crossbar directly from a corner, but Chelsea's hopes of a comeback were killed off in the 76th minute, with Ndiaye curling into the top-right corner after taking in Beto's flick-on
