Bayern Munich thrashed their visitors Cologne 5–1 on Saturday in Matchday 34 of the German Bundesliga.

Bayern raised their tally to 89 points at the top of the table, while Cologne remained on 32 points in 14th place.

The hosts took the lead in the 10th minute through their English star Harry Kane, who added a second goal just three minutes later.

Cologne pulled one back in the 18th minute via Saeed Al-Malla, but Bayern quickly responded as Tom Bischof scored the third goal in the 22nd minute.

Harry Kane was the standout performer, completing his hat-trick with Bayern’s fourth goal in the 69th minute, before Nicolas Jackson added the fifth.

Bayern Munich secured the Bundesliga title for the 35th time in their history and for the second consecutive season. They had previously dominated the competition from the 2012–2013 season until 2023–2024, when Bayer Leverkusen won the title
