Dardai’s tantrum: Will Ibrahim Maza take off from Hertha BSC now?
Hertha Berlin's Ibrahim Mazza, a German player of Algerian origin, was subjected to ill treatment by his coach, Pal Dardai, during the Hanover96 meeting in the Second Division Football League, which may prompt him to leave the club.
Mazza is only 18 years old, and he was surprised between the halves that his coach went to him, and verbally violated him in a way that surprised everyone.
In front of some 60 thousand spectators at the Olympic Stadium and during the match live on television, Dardai ran onto the pitch with the halftime whistle and, on his way to the dressing room, headed towards Maza in front of cameras with wide open eyes and lots of gestures. So much so that veteran striker Florian Niederlickner (33) felt compelled to intervene.
