Ivan Toney scored a hat-trick, including two penalties, to inspire Al Ahli to a 3–1 home win over Al Fateh in a rescheduled Saudi Pro League match on Wednesday.

Toney opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 27th minute before Al Fateh levelled through Sufyan Bendebka in the 50th minute. The England striker then restored Al Ahli’s lead with another penalty in the 76th minute, before sealing the win in stoppage time to take his league tally to 30 goals and move clear at the top of the scoring charts, one goal ahead of Julian Quiñones of Al Qadsiah.

The victory lifted Al Ahli, the defending AFC Champions League Elite winners, to 72 points in third place, seven points behind leaders Al Nassr with three matches remaining. Al Fateh remain on 33 points in 12th place.
