Milan beat host Cagliari 1-0 in the eighteenth round of the Italian League on Friday.
Portuguese Rafael Leao scored the only goal of the match in the 50th minute, giving the visitors a valuable victory that put Milan back at the top of the standings.
Milan raised its score to 38 points in first place, two points behind its neighbor and rival Inter Milan, which will meet Bologna later in the same round on Sunday.
As for Cagliari, its score froze at 18 points in fourteenth place, after suffering its eighth defeat this season.
