Liverpool scored three goals from corners in the first half as they earned a thrilling 5-2 victory over West Ham United at Anfield.
Despite a lively West Ham performance, Liverpool's set-piece prowess helped them move level on points with fourth-placed Manchester United in the Premier League table.
Hugo Ekitike struck in the fifth minute, before Virgil van Dijk scored with a towering header and Alexis Mac Allister adjusted brilliantly to net with the outside of his right boot.
Tomas Soucek and Valentin Castellanos were on target in the second half, but a deflected Cody Gakpo strike and an own goal from Axel Disasi ensured Liverpool's three-goal advantage held.
While Liverpool climb one place to fifth, ahead of Chelsea facing Arsenal on Sunday, West Ham remain 18th and two points adrift of Nottingham Forest.
How the match unfolded
Liverpool's first attack resulted in a goal, as Ryan Gravenberch did well to keep Dominik Szoboszlai's corner alive and find Ekitike, whose finish deflected off Konstantinos Mavropanos and went in.
West Ham improved after falling behind, but Mavropanos swiped wildly over the crossbar before Gravenberch's curler worked Mads Hermansen at the other end.
And another set-piece undid the visitors in the 24th minute, when Van Dijk rose highest inside a crowded six-yard box to nod Szoboszlai's corner home.
Alisson almost gifted Jarrod Bowen a goal as Liverpool endured some nervy moments, but yet another corner led to the Reds' third goal in the 43rd minute, with Mac Allister powering into the roof of the net.
The visitors cut the deficit four minutes after the interval as Soucek met El Hadji Malick Diouf's cross, though Gakpo restored Liverpool's three-goal cushion when his shot hit Aaron Wan-Bissaka and squirmed in with 20 minutes to go.
Castellanos' simple back-post header reduced the arrears again in the 75th minute, but Liverpool had the final say seven minutes later, as the unfortunate Disasi slid Jeremie Frimpong's centre into his own net.
