Convincing victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina: The German national team secured group victory in the Nations League thanks to a 7-0 (3-0) win in Freiburg. Jamal Musiala, Tim Kleindienst, Kai Havertz, Florian Wirtz and Leroy Sane scored in the last home game of the year. DFB.de has the comments on the game.

Jamal Musiala: It was fun. We did the things we set out to do really well. After a few goals, you can play more freely. We were also good defensively. I don't really practice headers, it's always about positioning. Then you just have to be there and hit the ball well.

Julian Nagelsmann: We played an incredibly greedy game, defensively and offensively. We didn't let up even after the substitutions, there was no break in the game. Joshua Kimmich is a bit injured, but hopefully it's nothing dramatic. The counter-pressing was the most impressive thing today. It was a very good game. In the past, we often didn't play forward quickly enough after winning the ball, but that worked much better today.

Tim Kleindienst: I'm pleased that it worked out today and that I was able to score two goals. It's a big dream that came true today. Being able to contribute something to a 7-0 win is great. As a team, we worked incredibly well, almost everything worked out in attack. We also had a lot of chances in the first half that we could have taken advantage of.

Florian Wirtz: It was my first ever free kick goal, so it was great that I was able to crown the evening with it. Above all, the victory and the fact that we won 7-0 are what counts. The whole team performed very well, which is why the evening was very good.

Oliver Baumann: It's crazy what happened tonight. Scoring so many goals in one game is brutal. Keeping a clean sheet means a lot to me, as does the second international match. I'm over the moon and we can be happy with that.

After reaching the quarter-finals, the German national team also secured early victory in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League . The team of national coach Julian Nagelsmann beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0 (3-0) in Freiburg and can no longer be pushed from the top of the table with 13 points after five matches. Jamal Musiala (2nd), Tim Kleindienst (23rd, 79th), Kai Havertz (37th), Florian Wirtz (50th, 56th) and Leroy Sane (66th) provided a demonstration of power with their goals.

Compared to the last international match against the Netherlands, national coach Julian Nagelsmann changed his starting eleven in five positions, partly due to injuries, without causing any major surprises: Jonathan Tah, Pascal Groß, Robert Andrich, Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz started instead of Nico Schlotterbeck, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Angelo Stiller, Serge Gnabry and Jamie Leweling. Jonathan Tah and Antonio Rüdiger formed the central defence in front of Oliver Baumann, who guarded the German goal for the second time in a row. As usual, captain Joshua Kimmich and Maximilian Mittelstädt played on the defensive flanks. Robert Andrich and Pascal Groß acted as the control centre in the double six. The duo of Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz, along with Kai Havertz, formed the strong dribbling offensive line behind striker Tim Kleindienst.
