Braga took an early lead through Fran Navarro in the second minute, before Famalicão overturned the score with two goals from Gil Bastião Dias and Rafa Silva in the 40th and 65th minutes.

Braga, however, snatched a draw in the dying moments when Ricardo Horta converted a penalty in the 90+9th minute.
