Trezegezeh ruled out of Al Ahly’s squad for clash against Enppi

Al Ahly, the defending champions, announced on Monday that winger Mahmoud Hassan (Trezegezeh) will miss their match against Enppi on Tuesday in the Egyptian Premier League due to injury.

Trezegezeh had featured in Al Ahly’s 3–0 win over Zamalek on Friday, but left the pitch toward the end of the match after suffering an injury in a challenge with defender Mohamed Ismail.

In a statement, Al Ahly said:
“Mahmoud Hassan Trezegezeh will miss the Al Ahly–Enppi match taking place tomorrow in the Egyptian Premier League, after sustaining a deep cut above his left knee, which required stitching five wounds.”

The club also confirmed that the duo Yasser Ibrahim and Youcef Belailmi had returned to group training, having recovered from injuries that had kept them out recently.

Trezegezeh, 31, has scored 16 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions for Al Ahly this season.

Al Ahly currently sit third in the league table with 47 points, three points behind league leaders Zamalek and Piramids.
