Estêvão (2), Rodrygo (2) and Vinicius Jr. scored the goals for the Brazilian National Team; Hopscotch faces Japan on Tuesday (14)

The Brazilian National Team thrashed South Korea 5-0 this Friday (10). Coach Carlo Ancelotti's team had a great performance at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, and encouraged the Brazilians in another commitment of the preparation stage for the 2026 World Cup. The goals were scored by Estêvão (2), Rodrygo (2) and Vinicius Jr.

Amarelinha's last victory by 5 goals difference had happened on October 9, 2020, when Brazil defeated Bolivia 5-0, at NeoQuímica Arena, in a match valid for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

HOMAGE

In this match, the Brazilian National Team entered the field with a special patch on the uniform, celebrating King Pelé's 85th birthday, which would be completed on October 23.

THE DEPARTURE

In the game at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the Brazilian team created several opportunities and was more intense than the opponent most of the time.

Who opened the scoring was the young Estêvão. Bruno Guimarães gave a beautiful pass to the Chelsea striker, who shot first time to swing the net.

Amarelinha continued to be superior offensively during the first half and the second goal came in the 40th minute. After a good move on the left by Vini Jr, Rodrygo deceived the marking with a light cutter, received the ball from Casemiro and dribbled an opponent to increase the score.

Mister Ancelotti did not start the match with four strikers for nothing and the intensity only increased in the second half. With less than two minutes of play, Estêvão showed his talent and scored Brazil's third, his second in the game. The number 20 stole the ball from Kim Min-Jae's mistake on the way out of the area and hit a cross to score a beautiful goal.

Inspired, Rodrygo also scored his second in the match soon after. Again after a mistake by South Korea, Casemiro recovered the ball and found Vinicius Jr., who touched it for the number 10 to swing the net.

The last to contribute to the rout was precisely the author of the assist for the fourth goal. In a quick counterattack, Vini took off against the marking to the area to make the fifth.

AGENDA

The Brazilian National Team returns to the field on Tuesday (14), to face Japan in a friendly match. The ball rolls at 07:30 am (Brasília time), at the Tokyo Stadium.
