Barcelona defeated their home rivals Real Madrid 2–0 in El Clásico on Sunday evening, securing the league title with three rounds still remaining in the season.
The Catalan side settled the match in the first half with two goals scored by Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres in the 9th and 18th minutes at Camp Nou, where fans celebrated the club’s 29th league title.
With this victory, Barcelona avenged their 2–1 loss in the first-leg match at the Santiago Bernabéu. They now have 91 points at the top of the table, clinching the title for the second consecutive season.
