Barcelona moved closer to retaining the title of Spain’s top‑flight league after Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres struck the net in the closing minutes to secure a 2–1 victory for the Catalan side against hosts Osasuna on Saturday.
With four matches remaining in the season, Barcelona lead the standings on 88 points, 14 points clear of second‑placed Real Madrid, who will visit Espanyol on Sunday.
If Real Madrid fail to win that match, Barcelona will be crowned champions.
Barcelona opened the scoring in the 81st minute when Marcus Rashford delivered a cross from the right flank and Lewandowski headed the ball into the net. Five minutes later, Fermín López set the ball up for Torres, who went one‑on‑one with goalkeeper Sergio Herrera and slotted a low shot into the goal.
Raúl García pulled one goal back for Osasuna from close range two minutes later, but the home side could not equalize and are now stuck in the 10th position with 42 points.
