Celtic defeated Hearts 3–1 at home in a dramatic final round to be crowned champions of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand scored late goals, sparking wild celebrations as Celtic, who had trailed Hearts for most of the season, secured the title for the 14th time in the last 15 seasons.
Hearts needed just one point to win the title for the first time in 60 years.
In a vibrant atmosphere at Parkhead, the visitors looked on course for glory when Lawrence Shankland headed in from a corner in the 43rd minute.
However, Celtic equalized before halftime from a penalty awarded after a VAR review confirmed that Alexandros Kyziridis had handled a cross from Kieran Tierney. Arne Engels converted from the spot to make it 1–1.
As full-time approached, Celtic pushed forward, and Maeda scored from close range, initially ruled offside before being awarded after a lengthy VAR review.
The match ended in chaotic scenes as Osmand ran the ball into an empty net with almost the final kick of the game, while Celtic fans flooded onto the pitch.
