The President of the Saudi Football Federation crowned the Japanese national team with the title of the Asian Cup «Under-23», after its great victory over its Chinese counterpart by four goals to none, in the final match that was held on Saturday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
The Japanese team scored its first goal in minute (12) through Yuto Oziki, before Kosi Ogura added the second goal in minute (20), while Ryunosuke strengthened the score with the third goal from a penalty kick in minute (59), and Kosi Ogura concluded Japan's four goals by scoring the fourth goal in minute (76).
Hosting this tournament comes within a series of continental and regional tournaments hosted by the Kingdom during the next stage, as it prepares to host the AFC Champions League finals for the elite in April (April) 2026, and the Asian Cup finals «U-17» in May (May) 2026, all the way to the Asian Cup 2027 ️during the period from January 7 (January) to February 5 (February) 2027.
