Elias Charalambous reacted after the incredible message sent by Marius Șumudică at the end of the FCSB – Rapid 3-3 derby: "I don't want to make a scandal"
FCSB started its journey in the Superliga play-offs with a 3-3 draw at home against Rapid. The "Red-Blues" led 1-0 and 2-1, but the opponents equalized each time and even managed to take the lead, 3-2, even though they were down to ten men. In the end, the champion equalized in extra time and snatched a point.

The Giulesti started better and in the 2nd minute Borza put Târnovanu to the test with a shot from outside the box. The FCSB goalkeeper saved without problems. The hosts' first chance came after a quarter of an hour. Bîrligea took a phase on his own and shot from the edge of the box, Aioani repelling it for a corner.
FCSB took the lead after 30 minutes. Bîrligea finished with a header from close range. Aioani tried to block, but he went into the goal with the ball.
Immediately afterwards there was a controversial phase in the hosts' box. Koljic dribbled past Târnovanu and asked for a penalty, but center back Horațiu Feșnic showed him the yellow card for simulation.
Five minutes before the break, Denis Ciobotariu scores his second goal in the Rapid jersey. The defender rose perfectly and scored with his head from the corner taken by Petrila.
After the break, FCSB took the lead again through the goal scored by Cisotti. The Italian capitalized on Bîrligea's cross from six meters.
Alex Dobre restored the tie in the 71st minute, when he completed a counterattack with a powerful shot to the short corner. In the next phase, Alexandru Borza receives his second yellow card and is sent off.
Rapid remained dangerous and outnumbered and managed to score in the 83rd minute. Ciobotariu made the double, beating Târnovanu with another header.
In the last minutes, the goalkeeper of the Giulesti team, Aioani, was injured and was replaced by Franz Stolz. The Austrian goalkeeper brought from Genoa had a nightmarish debut. At a corner on the right side, Stolz came out badly and Tanase took his face and restored the tie.
In the last minutes there was a siege at Stolz's goal. FCSB was close to scoring the winning goal, but Stolz and the red-blues' inaccuracy made the scoreboard remain unchanged.
