Barcelona's German coach, Hansi Flick, said he will not change his defensive approach despite his team’s 3-3 draw against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Flick stated on the club’s official website: "The 3-3 draw is not the best result. Club Brugge played very well."

He remains committed to his high defensive line and is working to improve it. Flick added, "Last season, we wouldn’t have conceded the first goal we gave away today. We don’t have the same confidence when relying on the offside trap. We will not change our defensive method."

When questioned, Flick stuck firmly to his philosophy and the defensive approach that succeeded last season, saying: "In midfield, we didn’t press well and found it hard to defend against their fast players. We must analyze the draw and find areas to improve."

He added: "We must keep working. We are not at our best, but we must stay positive. We will have the ability to return to our top level when players such as Raphinha, Pedri, and Juan Garcia come back."

Flick confirmed: "We have the chance to do better against Celta Vigo," the team Barcelona will face next Sunday in La Liga’s 12th round.
