Hossam Hassan, head coach of the Egyptian national team, made no attempt to conceal the weight of responsibility on his shoulders as he prepares to lead the Pharaohs in a historic edition of the FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

A man who lived the World Cup experience as a player in 1990, he now lives it as a coach  a difference he openly acknowledges. "The joy is doubled," he told FIFA's official website, stressing that a new generation of players is ready and capable of carrying Egypt's flag with distinction.

Yet Hossam is not a man of words before battles. He believes results are built in preparation rooms, not in press statements, and so his focus remains firmly on forging a cohesive unit  one defined by harmony, internal competition, and a sharp-eyed study of opponents.

"The Egyptian people deserve everything we have to give," he said with the confidence of someone who understands the weight of a promise. He added that the same methodology that guided him through World Cup qualifiers and the Africa Cup of Nations continues to drive him now  built on creating the ideal environment for each player to perform without limits.

In closing, the coach was clear and decisive: "Egypt is ready, and we promise our fans they will be proud of us."

The Pharaohs will compete in Group 7 against Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand  and as always, the true verdict will be delivered on the pitch, not before it.
