Officially, Al‑Faisaly Club has been promoted to the Roshn Saudi League (Saudi Pro League) after defeating Al‑Batin 4–0 on Friday, in the 34th and final round of the First Division “Yelo” League, finishing second in the table with 73 points, behind champions Abha, who had already secured promotion earlier.

Al‑Faisaly, nicknamed “Al‑Anabt Al‑Sadir,” had been relegated along with Al‑Ahli in the 2021 season. While “Al‑Raqqi” (Al‑Ahli) returned quickly the following year, Al‑Faisaly failed to climb back up—until this season, when they produced a transformed performance and outstanding form that carried them to promotion and a place among the top‑tier “big clubs.”

After the match, Al‑Faisaly celebrated wildly with their fans, as the purple stands filled to capacity with supporters who had waited a long time for this moment.

Meanwhile, teams Dhahran (Al‑Diriyah), Al‑Oula (Al‑Ula), Al‑Urooba, and Al‑Jabalain will now have to compete in promotion‑relegation playoffs to determine the third club that will join the top flight.
