With a assured performance that radiated readiness, Spain wrapped up their pre-tournament preparations with a convincing 3-1 victory over Peru  a display that showed real cohesion across the lines just days before the 2026 World Cup kicks off.

Pedri opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a touch of class that recalled his very best, before Peru helped Spain's cause further with an own goal on the 53rd minute that all but settled the contest. Mikel Oyarzabal was the undisputed star of the evening, netting twice in a performance brimming with confidence and sharpness. Jairo Concha pulled one back for Peru on 66 minutes, but it did little to alter the overall picture.

Spain head into the World Cup with the air of a team that knows exactly what it wants  and Oyarzabal is making a very loud statement with his feet: he is ready to be one of the heroes of this tournament.
